About Sustainathon

It aims to bring students with various skillsets together and to encourage them to embrace their talent in coding by participating and exploring new challenges. Students will have a wide range of opportunities to showcase their skills in problematic sectors such as education, health care, environment, and various others that need innovative solutions in today’s scenario.

In lieu of the COVID-19 pandemic we have organized a 100% virtual hackathon. The situation is challenging, but we must make the best out of it.

We have adopted the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and incorporated the 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a theme for this flagship event of BVEST 2020. As technology advances, we are certainly witnessing the increasing need for all sustainable development goals to be implemented and achieved. We are well equipped with the knowledge and technology needed to make our contribution towards sustainability. Therefore, we invite you to be part of SUSTAINATHON, to contribute what you can, and to make a strong impact. This hackathon will be an opportunity for developers to develop a soft solution or a product, stemming from any branch of engineering or applied sciences, which adheres to the theme of the event.
